While in Wycoller don’t forget to visit the Craft Centre and tea room where you will get a warm weclome from Tony, Janet and their staff.
On a cool day sit in front of the open fire of their traditional Lancashire Range (at one time they were the only form of heating and cooking in many homes throughout East Lancashire). Now the fireplace is a welcoming site after a day’s walking or for those just enjoying the special Wycoller atmosphere.
Opening times are Tuesday to Sunday 11am-5pm. Closed Monday. The cafe is well known for it’s Pie and Peas, home made soup with crusty rolls, delicious scones and a variety of home made cakes. There are lots of other choices to select from on the menu.
Takeaway sandwiches, drinks, sweets and of course ice cream are also available.
There is also a good display of crafts, cards, pictures, postcards and guidebooks to browse.
